Volunteers are the life-blood of our school.  The active involvement of parents and caregivers in our school community enhances the experience for all.

School Board of Education

The mission of the St. Leo the Great School Board, as representatives of the Parish Faith Community, is to provide consultation and assistance to the administration and faculty of the school in providing a quality Catholic education. The Board of Education strives to fulfill its mission by accomplishing the following goals:

• Facilitate communication between St. Leo the Great School Board and Parish organizations, faculty, parents, and the Home & School Association (HSA).
• Plan for the continuous development and growth of St. Leo the Great School.
• Continue to provide affordable, quality education.
• Expand the funding sources of St. Leo the Great School.
• Continue to foster spiritual growth.
• Promote awareness of St. Leo the Great School and develop supportive relationships within the community.
• Review the function/procedures of the St. Leo the Great School Board.
• Develop a process that facilitates support and teamwork among School Board members.

Parents and parishioners are invited to attend the School Board's regular monthly meetings. Parties requesting to have an item added to the meeting agenda are required to contact the school board president prior to the meeting. Meetings are held in Room 2 of the church on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM. Please note that there is not a meeting in June and July.
